Vocalist Gayle King formed Indigo in 1982. Indigo has
been a major part of the Louisville music scene, playing
clubs, wedding receptions, corporate events and concerts
since that time. Indigo has been featured at the Jazz
In Central Park series, Jazz at Jefferson Forest, the
Jazz Factory nightclub and at the Jazz Cabaret at the
Kentucky Center for the Arts.

Indigo plays a large repertoire of music including
Tin-Pan Alley tunes from the 1920s-30s, big-band
favorites, Broadway show tunes, Motown and current top
40.
